It would be great if I achieved my goals . . . And I achieved them right now . . . It would be perfect if all of my dreams came true . . . And they came true before dinner . . . But the reality is . . . Building to my goals . . . And working toward my dreams . . . Is something that’s going to happen in steps . . . Not all at once . . . But little by little . . . And it can be frustrating to only take small steps . . . It can feel so slow to only take small steps . . . But the reality is . . . Almost every big thing I’ve accomplished in my life . . . Has come from a series of small steps . . . Small steps are more manageable . . . Small steps come quicker . . . And they add up . . . And if I consistently take small steps . . . Moving toward my goal . . . Success is going to come . . . It’s going to surprise me . . . Because all of a sudden one day . . . It will be there . . . With me . . . A part of me . . . And when I take small steps . . . The things that don’t work out . . . Are much smaller . . . They’re not huge mistakes . . . They’re little mistakes . . . They’re easier to correct . . . They’re easier to respond to . . . They’re easier to learn from . . . I give myself permission . . . To be comfortable with taking small steps . . . Because with each small step . . . I’m closer to my dream . . . With each small step . . . I am moving forward . . . I give myself permission to celebrate the small steps . . . And to move forward at a rate that makes sense for me . . .
